Ingredients:
- 1 flatbread or pizza crust
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425F 220C
Place the flatbread or pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone
Spread the pesto sauce evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pesto sauce
Evenly distribute the sliced mushrooms and cherry tomato halves on top of the cheese
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Drizzle a little olive oil over the pizza for added flavor
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top
Garnish with fresh basil leaves
Slice and serve hot
