The delightful combination of rich chocolate, soft marshmallows, and crunchy pecans is present in these Mississippi Mud Brownies. They are the ideal treat for chocolate lovers because they are so thick and fudgy

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions:

Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and preheat the oven to 350F 175C

The butter should be melted in 30-second increments in a microwave-safe bowl

Add the cocoa powder and granulated sugar and stir until well mixed

Blend the mixture until its smooth after adding the eggs and vanilla extract

Add the flour and salt gradually, stirring just until incorporated

Add the chopped pecans and fold

Transfer the brownie mixture into the baking pan that has been preheated and level it out

For about 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, bake in the preheated oven

As soon as you take the brownies out of the oven, evenly top them with the mini marshmallows

Put the pan back in the oven and let it sit there for a further two to three minutes, or until the marshmallows begin to melt and turn golden brown

Take out of the oven and cover the marshmallow layer with both kinds of chocolate chips

Let the brownies cool completely on a wire rack inside the pan

Cut into squares and enjoy after theyve cooled
