In this traditional New England Lobster Roll recipe, juicy lobster meat is mixed with a creamy dressing and put in a toasted bun that has been buttery. Its a classic taste of the coastal Northeast and great for summer parties or any time you want to impress with a taste of the sea.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 New England style hot dog buns
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- Shredded lettuce for serving
Instructions:
Put the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Combine well
Spread melted butter on the inside of the hot dog buns
Put the buns in a pan over medium-low heat and toast them until they turn golden brown
Put some lobster mixture in the middle of each toasted bun
Put lettuce shreds next to the lobster rolls to serve
